The Vegetarian Society defines a vegetarian, 'As someone living on a diet of grains, pulses, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits, with or without the use of dairy products and eggs. A vegetarian does not eat any meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, or slaughter by-products.'

Organic

It is generally agreed that to be labelled organic the product/s on our shelves are free from: conventional pesticides, man made fertilizers, human waste, chemicals, food additives, antibiotics and growth hormones. However, some countries and organic bodies implement tougher laws than others: no genetically modified ingredients, for example.

Product/s labelled Eco on our shelves are derived from mineral and plant based material. As they are not based on petrochemical ingredients there is no residue from chemicals – which in turn helps the environment and lowers the consumer’s level of pollution.
